M’ARTELLO

M’Artello pays tribute to the Martello towers that form part of the historical landscape of Mauritius’s west coast and the Les Salines / Black River story.

Originally constructed as coastal defensive structures during the 1830s, the towers became enduring witnesses to the coast. M’Artello translates that relationship between land, history and ocean into a contemporary beachfront restaurant.
